The central idea
The Sun in Taurus builds identity through presence: knowing what value you want to care for, what rhythm you can sustain and what experience it returns to your body. It does not equate to slowness or permanent comfort. Its development consists of choosing calmly and being able to change a form when it no longer protects what is important.
A life that feels your own
You can recognize it by maintaining a practice because it still nourishes you, by learning a craft with patience, or by holding a boundary without turning it into possession over another person. The criterion is not to hold on longer: it is to notice if your energy, your resources and your decisions are still aligned. A small change can be a form of fidelity to your values, not a betrayal of them.
The blind spot appears when stability becomes a test of value. Defending an exhausted routine, holding on to a relationship for fear of losing what is known, or measuring your identity by what you possess can leave out real desire. Consistency needs periodic review: what retains life and what only retains inertia.
How it changes depending on context
The house shows where this relationship with value and presence becomes visible: in the astrological house 2 it can touch resources and self-esteem; in 5, creation and enjoyment; in 10, reputation and authority. The aspects add conditions: Saturn can ask for patience, Venus can refine the criterion of pleasure, and Mars can activate change. No one sets a behavior.
What to review in your chart
The Sun provides identity and vitality; Taurus provides rhythm, matter and continuity. Ask yourself what you want to hold, what cost no longer makes sense and what bodily signal appears when a choice is your own. Then explore your natal Sun.
